Bio:This is the fanfic and icon journal of [info]aylaranzz.

I finally decided to create since it seemed as though everyone has been, so I decided to jump on the bandwagon. ^_^

If anyone is curious as to how I came up with this name that's a simple story. I originally wanted to call it Southern_Oracle as a reference to the book/movie The Neverending Story. But unfortunatly someone is using that. So I decided that since I live in the northern part of the United States I'd call it Northern_Oracle, but someone had that as well so I tweaked it a little. ^_^

I have one rule. If you see an icon you like and you would like to use it please credit me.

And another thing, Feedback. Everyone loves feedback, especially me ^_^ So please give me some feedback whether it's on my icons or fics. Thanx.

The final battle was not the end.

It was only the beginning of a state of anarchy. When Harry defeated Voldemort, the Wizarding World was left with no one to lead. People naturally assumed Harry would take charge, but Harry wanted no part of it. He’d accepted his destiny and he was ready for a normal life. No one was comfortable trusting the Ministry of Magic now despite their attempts to get everything under control. Order was restored at Azkaban, but so far, that was all that the Ministry was capable of doing. Many of the Deatheaters had been forced to go underground and determine a new plan to rule and continue to purify the Wizarding race. However, other Deatheaters have denied allegiance to the Dark Lord, saying that they were under the Imperius curse, similar to the last war. The few that were captured and imprisoned were left to the Dementors.

The general Wizarding community attempts to rebuild. The deaths were numerous; including Mad-Eye Moody, Rufus Scrimgeour, Vincent Crabbe, Dobby, Hedwig, and Tonks. Remus Lupin and Fred Weasley were severely injured but after some time at St. Mungo’s managed to survive. Everyone was affected by the war in some way. Many people lost loved ones, but businesses and homes were also destroyed. Hogwarts was almost completely in ruins and is only beginning to be rebuilt. The students are being taught in homes or have moved to attend other schools until Hogwarts can rebuilt. Many people are broke and re-establishing their businesses for those who have the money.

Voldemort may be dead, but the cause is not. In the Dark Lord’s wake, the Wizarding community is left in shambles. His death was not the end, but the beginning of an era of uncertainty, reconstruction, and turmoil.

St. Dymphna Academy is a private college in Clogher, Ireland, providing a great opportunity for students, offering full scholarships and top-of-the-line education. It was built in 1813-1816, and renovated later, in the late 1800’s. Closed in 1823, but later reopened as a college, in 1887.

The college, which was once an abbey was once the scene of a horrific murder and suicide, which led to the abbey being closed down.

60 years later, when the memory of the murder had vanished, the abbey was re-opened. But never again would it be used as a nunnery. It was opened as a school. The wing where the murder took place was still closed off, remaining untouched since the actual occurrence.

When the school was re-opened, strange things started to happen again. Faint whispers and strange shadows could be seen, but the students generally brushed it off.

St. Dymphna Academy is an original character, anything goes Role Play. It is both het and slash friendly. Players must be atleast 18 years of age as there will be adult content.
